I create images on fabric, usually clothing, using the ancient process of resist dyeing called batik. A process using hot wax and cool dye and then removing the wax.

About:  Jill Miller

I use melted wax to draw original designs onto natural clothing and material that I sew into pillows and scarves. I immerse the entire piece into a dye bath. The waxed areas resist the dye.
