Multi media functional hand bound leather books & book/wall assemblages are created using altered & manipulated found objects. Reclaimed objects are embellished, stamped & manipulated & then assembled.
Highly sculpted hardwood kaleidoscopes utilizing a variety of species , designed to stand alone as sculpture with amazing interior views. Also I am developing tables made from a variety of hardwoods.
Hand wrinkle and stretch rice paper wet mount it on acid free board wait for it to dry, then apply gold color on the surface, then using Chinese Brush painting technique to start painting.
Our family’s art is full of hope, humor + whimsy. We use a mix of free hand cut paper collage, paint, lettering, + vintage frames. Every piece is colorful, one of a kind and has a meaningful message.
Blown glass starts as clear crystal w/frits for color & pattern & fumed w/titanium for iridescence. Copper w/ a museum bronze chemical patina for color then clear coated with enamel and heat treated.
Original clay sculpture. Reproduced in a resin. Stones, shells or glass applied to resin. Electroformed copper applied around entire piece. Laquered won’t tarnish. suitable for home or garden.
