About:
Iowa City’s Old Capitol Chorus is all about harmony. Under the direction of Chad Knipfer, our chapter in the Barbershop Harmony Society has been ringing chords for 60 years. Nearly 500 men have added their voice to our chorus from the beginning. We simply love to sing! We continue to welcome new singers of all backgrounds. Rehearsing on Thursday evenings, at Robert A Lee Community Center, to bring melody and harmony to this world. As you can see, we have a blast. A heartfelt thank you to Summer of the Arts for inviting us to Arts Fest.
