About:
The Peter Tearse Quarter is lead by Peter Tearse; a sophomore jazz studies and music education major at DePaul University in Chicago, and an Iowa City native. The group in composed of a close knit group of friends who all met at a summer jazz camp before graduating from high school. Members of this group range from ages 18-21, and are students of music schools across the country (Berklee, DePaul University, and Columbia University).
The group is excited to perform at the Iowa City Jazz Festival and be apart of the Summer of the Arts program, ready to show there unique style to a new wave of fans, old and new.
