About:

In response to a demand for “Roaring ‘20s” themed party music, The Sons of Zebedee DooDah was formed in January 2020 with a mission to revitalize the music of the Prohibition era. Specializing in swing dance tempos, the sextet has performed for numerous “speakeasy” type parties, galas, and even jazz church services. Temporarily forced into hiatus by a worldwide pandemic, the band is back with a vengeance and ready to bring the swing to your event.

Horn players Lynne Hart (clarinet, saxophone), Manny Lopez (trumpet), and Peter Hart (bass saxophone, tenor saxophone) have been playing together in various configurations for more
than 20 years, as members of the Manny Lopez Big Band. Together they have backed up jazz luminaries including Louie Bellson, Clark Terry, Buddy DeFranco, and many legends of the Motown era, including The Temptations and The Supremes, James Ingram, Roberta Flack, and numerous others.

Rhythm section members Corey Kendrick, (piano), Dan Jacobi (drums), Ron Wilson (bass), laydown the festive groove for your listening and dancing enjoyment.
