Set up a recurring donation
Recurring donations allow donors to give at a higher level without incurring a large one-time expense, and they give us the security of knowing that our free programming has ongoing funding. You can sign up for a recurring credit card donation HERE [link to donation page] or set up an ACH donation directly from your bank account by mailing a voided check along with a note telling us how much you wish to donate each month to 319 E. 1st Street, Iowa City, IA, 52240.

Matching Gifts
As a 501(c)3, Summer of the Arts is eligible for employer matching gift programs. If your company participates in matching gift programs, please consider doubling your gift in this easy way!

Participate in our Fundraising Events
An easy way to support Summer of the Arts is by participating in our fundraising events. If you love to support our local restaurants, check out our Eat for the Arts events throughout the year where area restaurants donate a percentage of their sales on a particular date to Summer of the Arts. Talk about easy!

Watch for other fundraisers like our annual Jazz Brunch during the Iowa City Jazz Festival or our fall Disco Ball! Donate to our endowment fund
Summer of the Arts has an endowment fund through the Community Foundation of Johnson County. Your contribution to our endowment not only provides you with tax incentives but supports the organization for the long-term. Go to https://cfjc.org/, select the Donate to a Fund option and search for the Summer of the Arts Endowment Fund.

Qualified Charitable Distributions
If you are age 70 1/2 or older, you have the opportunity to make an annual gift directly from your IRA without having those funds included in your adjusted gross income. For more information, consult your financial advisor or tax professional.

Estate Planning
There are a wide range of opportunities to support Summer of the Arts through Estate Planning. This can include wills and bequests, appreciated stock, charitable trusts, life insurance gifts and testamentary trusts. Talk to your estate administrator or financial planner or contact Summer of the Arts to be referred to a financial planner who can help.
