Iowa Arts Festival May 31 – June 2, 2019

Art Fair

The Iowa Arts Festival features a juried art fair where over 100 artists can present and display their craft.

We are no longer accepting applications for the 2019 festival. Application for the 2020 Iowa Arts Festival will open on December 1, 2019.

 

Emerging Artist Pavilion

The Emerging Artist Pavilion at the Iowa Arts Festival showcases Iowa student artists currently in high school or college. Artists must be Iowa residents and currently enrolled in school to be eligible.

We are no longer accepting applications for the 2019 Emerging Artist Pavilion.

Call for Young Artists

Toyota Legacy of Young Artists

 

Summer of the Arts is proud to partner with Toyota of Iowa City to promote emerging Johnson County, Iowa artists (age 16-25) through Creating a Legacy of Local Artists. The selected artist will receive a commission of $3,000 for an original piece of artwork which will be featured at the Iowa Arts Festival.

Iowa City Jazz Festival July 5 – 7, 2019

A limited number of Artist Vendor Booths are available for the Iowa City Jazz Festival each year. Please note that artist booths will be open on July 5-6.

We are no longer accepting applications for the 2019 Iowa City Jazz Festival.

Soul & Blues Festival August 2 – 3, 2019

A limited number of Artist Vendor Booths are available each year. Please note that artist booths will be open on August 3.

Food Vendors

Summer of the Arts is no longer accepting Food Vendor applications for the 2019 season.

ALL Summer of the Arts Food Vendors are required to use biodegradable or compostable foodware.

Children’s Activities

Fun Stops – Iowa Arts Festival, Iowa City Jazz Festival, and Soul & Blues Festival

We invite your business or organization to host and staff a Fun Stop Booth where you can provide an interactive experience for festival attendees as they make their way through our festivals!

This is a rewarding and valuable opportunity for businesses and organizations to demonstrate positive community involvement and gain high-level visibility at the Iowa Arts Festival, Iowa City Jazz Festival, and/or Soul & Blues Festival.

We are no longer accepting applications for the 2019 Festival Season!

Children’s Global Village – Iowa Arts Festival

The Children’s Global Village is filled with booths representing different countries and cultures to serve as a learning experience for kids and families who visit and participate in the booths’ activities.

Community members, Girl/Boy Scout troops, church groups, student organizations, and others can share information about another country to festival attendees.

We are no longer accepting applications for the 2019 Children’s Global Village!
