I make images using film photography to express my passion for place. Most often this place is my home, the Midwest. Film photography and darkroom prints can communicate the feeling of Midwestern life in a way that other photographic mediums can’t replicate. With my photographs, I aim to inspire others to seek out the beauty hidden below the surface of Iowa’s agricultural landscape

I take detailed pictures of the moon and planets from my backyard. Thousands of close up images are stacked and stitched together to make one detailed photo. One image can take 4-6 hours to complete.
