Matt and Emma Quartet

About:  

Matt Landon & Emma Reynolds are a dynamic jazz duo blending masterful guitar and captivating vocals. Matt, a Burlington, Iowa native, is an accomplished guitarist and educator who has performed with jazz greats like John Patitucci and Joey DeFrancesco. He holds degrees in Jazz Studies from Western Michigan University and the University of Northern Colorado and currently teaches at WMU and Kirkwood Community College. Emma, a vocalist and music educator from Mount Shasta, California, earned her B.M. in Jazz Vocal Performance from Cal State Long Beach. She has performed extensively across California. Together, Matt and Emma create fresh interpretations of jazz standards and original works, blending technical skill with heartfelt artistry. They are joined by Blake Shaw on bass and Chris Jensen on drums.
