The Soul and Blues Festival Black Business Owner’s Forum will consist of a panel of 4 local business owners, followed by the interactive networking session where business owners, potential entrepreneurs and others will have the opportunity to talk one-on-one with each other about their businesses as well as share any advice or tips on starting and maintaining a business in Iowa. Representatives from local banks and Tracy Jon Sargeant, founder of the Multicultural Development Center of Iowa and the BIPOC Business Accelerator Program will also be on hand.

The event organizers plan for this to be a chance for the Black business community to come together to talk with one another and forge relationships for future Black Business initiatives in Iowa City and surrounding areas.
