I mostly draw animals. The majority of my work is digital such as stickers and prints but I do have acrylic paintings as well
Acrylic paint on canvas. I use brush/knife/rags/sponges/fingers, full body/washes/layering/dry brush/wet on wet. Will seal various layers and paint on top of that for a deeper feeling
Emerging Artist
I am a Plein air painter living in Iowa city and travel around the Midwest participating in Plein air competitions. I also do a lot of pet portraits. My work is primarily acrylic and gouache.
Through a layering process of oil paint and mediums, I create realistic storm landscapes, macro florals, and portraiture on stretched canvases and wood panels.
