These are unique instruments of my own invention, not traditional designs. My intent is to appeal to the eye as well as the ear and to bring more people into making their own art through playing music.
I create unique pieces of functional home decor by turning wood with a twist. I use an oil pastel to color the wood, this provides a vibrant, colorful finish but still shows wood grain.
I carve vessels and utensils from salvaged local greenwood and make sculptures using wood and found objects. I use hand tools in my carvings and enjoy the creating memorable pieces from discarded items.
