Annie Savage and the Lorch Sisters

Hailed as a “firecracker educator and performer” after founding the Wintergrass Festival’s Musicians of Excellence education program, Annie Savage is an international clinician whose Free-Strings Method (www.free-strings.com) offers students, classrooms, and festivals alike a joyful experience with music at the nexus of cultural relevance, creativity, and lifetime musicianship. 

A renowned fiddler, vocalist, and concert harpist, Savage has shared the stage with artists from Aretha Franklin to John Williams to Ricky Skaggs. She teaches with one foot in the classroom and the other in the music industry.

The Fabulous Lorch Sisters are two hard-working musicians, singers, and dancers who hail from Johnson County and study with Annie Savage, who will join them for this special Arts Fest debut performance. They are also coached by their awesome grandma, local musician and author Anne Marie-Krauss. We think you will agree…these mini-fiddlers have a very exciting path ahead of them
