Nick Rueckert Quartet

About:  

A native of Minneapolis, Minnesota, pianist/composer Nick Rueckert has lived in Iowa and performed throughout the Midwest since 2008. Holding degrees from Drake University and Boston University, Nick is a regular member of the Des Moines Big Band and has performed regularly with many ensembles including The Turner Center Jazz Orchestra, Parranderos Latin Combo, The Des Moines Metro Concert Band and Big Band, and alongside a variety of local and visiting artists.

The Nick Rueckert Quartet features compositions and arrangements penned by himself and its members Aaron Ehrlich on saxophone, Chris Walsh on bass, and Ben Poppen on drums.
