NonProphet

Beginning just last year, NonProphet is a jazz/rock fusion ensemble composed of some of Iowa City’s finest young musicians. Sharing a love for genres from funk and gospel to indie rock, NonProphetemphasizes musical bridges over traditionalism. Setlists feature past fusion mixed with the cutting edge, lesser-known standards and original material.

Members include: Peter Stoltz on drums and cymbals, Levi Pugh on keys, Daniel Burgess on guitar and vocals, Dr. Michael Chimenti on tenor sax, and Robert Walling on bass. Ranging in age from sophomore in high school to genomics researcher, NonProphet‘s lineup covers many facets of the human experience. Stop by for a fun set of high energy fusion.
