Nora Jean

Nora Jean is all about love and passion for the blues. Though she began early in her childhood, Nora’s big break came in 1985, when Jimmy Dawkins saw her performing at a local Chicago club and hired her on the spot. For the next seven years, she toured the world, refined her performing skills and acquired an international fan base. And every year between 2005 and 2009 she was nominated for a Blues Music Award in the Traditional Blues Female Artist of the Year category. No matter what comes, fame or obscurity, wealth or poverty, she is born to be a blues singer, and sing the blues she would.
