One of the many Brat Pack staples, high school senior Andie Walsh (Molly Ringwald) is a girl from the wrong side of the tracks dealing with a clique of popular bullies as she tries her best to simply make it through the year. However, once she catches the eye of popular but sweet Blane (Andrew McCarthy), things take a turn for the dramatic as two worlds collide where it was least expected.
