Blake Shaw is a musician from Iowa City. Being an ambitious and hungry bassist has helped him navigate through many different genres of music and work with a wide variety of artists. When Blake plays solo he loops live vocal beats and bass grooves to accompany his melodies. He’ll be joined this night by Dr. Jim Buennig on sax and will be playing a mix of jazz influenced arrangements of R&B tunes, rock, blues, pop, and more.
