Fairchildren is an eastern Iowa classic rock band that started in 1986. They were a popular Iowa City bar band that gigged often at Spanky’s in C.R., Gabes and Cheers in Iowa City, Riverfest on U of I campus and several other glorious regional dives including Pete and Tilly’s in C.R. and Davenport’s Dave’s Golden Nugget. Their weekend in Iowa City will be the first time together in over 33 years after each member went separate ways. This will be an Iowa City city-wide class reunion for the class of 1987, and they are looking forward to seeing one another, rehearsing and playing in front of friends old and new!
