About:

Willie Lee White is an American vocalist, songwriter and music composer. Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, he quickly gained notoriety in his hometown singing at many venues and clubs, because people loved the way he held a show. His debut single “Taking me for granted” made him a lover boy in the late 1980’s, but his album “Party Hardy” made him the party hardy man in (2008), when it hit charts topping number 5 in the south.

Willie’s many years in the industry has allowed him to develop his own style and skills both vocally and musically, he is no stranger to the music industry working with well-known artists like the Artie Blues Boy, Little Milton, Willie Clayton, Bobby Rush, and Jo Jo Murray. Some of his early blues influences began as a young child when he watched and eventually played alongside his uncle Jimmy White, founder of the Concept Band: “I always want to give the audience what they came for like my uncle did.”

Willie has always had the unique ability to combine a small drop of heartache with just the right amount of pain with his soulful sound that offers his listeners a dose of down-home funk! Check out his new music on all streaming platforms and be in tune for all his upcoming shows to come! Guaranteed to get you grooving.
