My process involves reconditioning and hand-sculpting unheated silver flatware which I then craft together with glass beads, antique bottles, crystals & artifacts using stainless steel cable & crimps.

I combine various hardwoods, brass and glass to create finely finished kaleidoscopes who’s exterior stand alone as sculpture with interior views that provide infinitely changing dynamic visuals.
Hand wrinkle and stretch rice paper wet mount it on acid free board wait for it to dry, then apply gold color on the surface, then using Chinese Brush painting technique to start painting.
Handmade paper of flax and kozo. Adding extra dimensions of mixed media, I am able to created inter-worlds and transform hidden spaces into larger visual planes.
Original clay sculpture. Reproduced in a resin. Stones, shells or glass applied to resin. Electroformed copper applied around entire piece. Laquered won’t tarnish. suitable for home or garden.
