Lee Bots, are robot figurines that are handcrafted out of discarded electronics. Once on their way to the trash these computers, printers, antiques, etc get torn apart and reassembled into robots.
Instruments are made from gourd, bamboo, fabric, goatskin & epoxy resin. Torches are used to fire sketch on bamboo. Dye and fabric are used to accent designs. Epoxy seals and waterproofs instruments.
Hand twisted aluminum & copper wire, mounted alone or on slate or on wood. Cherry burl, Spalted, 50 other species. Mostly Japanese tools.
I use wood, stones and ceramics to accent the functional leather I make. My work is put together with thread, glue, nails and screws.
