Acrylic on canvas. Dozens of hand brushed layers of translucent paint imbue depth and luminosity. Many pieces have over 30 layers of glaze, creating captivating refractive effects unusual in acrylics.
In my eclectic work, I break up objects with refraction lines allowing the dispersion of light. I custom mix layers of acrylic paint to create the desired depth and vibrant synergy within each piece.
My paintings consist of repurposed materials as a base that I then apply acrylic, oil, spray, graphite, and watercolor paint using brushes, sticks, splatters, spray cans, scraping, and drawing.
